What do we offer and what are our aims?

At the moment we offer 24 ha of land divided into 5 ha primeval forest and 19 ha agricultural land and water

5 ha primeval forest

Our primeval forest is a reservation for the protection of animals and species (toucans, rare butterflies, humming birds, howler monkeys, etc).

Large trees with strong branches offer monkeys, sloths and ant-eaters a place to sleep. Amphibians, insects, fungi and moss often live in the decaying parts of trees. Birds nest in hollow spaces.

A large part of the living space for insects, birds and small animals has been destroyed by the destruction of coffee and banana plantations. Many species have therefore already died out.

Finca3amigos is right next to the Chirripó National Park. This advantageous site offers the animals a fantastic living space, as most do not live in the middle of the forest but on the edge. There are 3 springs offering animals water and a chance to cool down in the temperatures of high summer. With the organic cultivation of plants the surrounding area is not poisoned and the animals can find food such as seeds and fruits.
